How we handle data, cookies, and advertising
Plain-language details on cookies, advertising, analytics, and affiliate links on Dog Whistle.
Last updated: June 27, 2026.
Dog Whistle (dogwhistleonline.com) is a free, browser-based ultrasonic tone generator and is part of the Audio Tools Network. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at contact@dogwhistleonline.com.
The dog whistle itself works entirely on your device. The tones are generated locally by your browser's Web Audio API. We do not record audio, we do not require an account, and we do not collect or store any personal audio or usage data from the tool itself.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to function, and others are set by third-party services such as advertising and analytics partners described below. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; doing so will not stop the whistle from working, though some features may behave differently.
We display ads to keep this tool free. We use Google AdSense as an advertising partner. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand anonymous, aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us improve the tool. Analytics cookies do not identify you personally. You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy.
Some pages contain affiliate links, including links through the Amazon Associates program. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps support the site. Affiliate links do not change the price you pay.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not build personal profiles or collect data beyond the analytics and advertising functions described above, which are handled by the third-party services named here under their own privacy policies.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request or ask a question, email us at contact@dogwhistleonline.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
